Wear RED Day

Yesterday was National Wear Red Day.  On this day in February you are supposed to wear red for cardiovascular disease awareness.  At the Village where I work we had a special dinner planned, and all the residents were to wear red to dinner.  Our staff dressed in red and black, and all the food that was served for dinner centered around the color red.  The first Friday of every month is our birthday celebration, so we even had a red birthday cake.  We make a huge deal on birthday nights.  We blow horns, wear hats, and make ton of noise.  Check us all out in our red attire...
What I enjoyed most of all last night was having two special guests with me for our dinner and celebration.  Wonder who that could be?

My sweet Meredith!

My handsome Creig!
We had a wonderful time.  Meredith loves visiting the Village, and the residents love seeing her even more.  She spent a lot of time entertaining them last night.  The residents said it was the best birthday celebration they had ever had at the Village.  Creig, Meredith and I really enjoyed having our dinner with 3 very special people.

Gran, Aunt Donna & Mom  (Somehow Mom managed to get out of this picture...wonder why she would want to do that, she loves having her picture taken)

I am so thankful to have a job that I love and enjoy everyday!  I love going to work, and I love what do...and, I love those residents!
