Meredith's Chore Chart

Meredith can be a super helper, and she especially enjoys helping fold the laundry.  We recently started a chore chart wtih her.  Most of the tasks are simple, like taking her bath, brushing her teeth, taking her medicine, etc.  She does have to make her bed, help with the laundry and put away her toys.  We also added use your manners...that's a big rule for us in our house!  I found this great website that let's you design chore charts:  http://www.dltk-cards.com/chart/chart2.asp.

I make different chore charts for each week, and let her pick which one she wants to hang up for the week.  Here is this weeks chart...

She loves this, and really enjoys being able to put her stickers on the chart when she has completed a task.  If she fills her chart up, at the end of the week we will give her a prize.  We might go get ice cream, let her pick something from the dollar section at target, or let her pick a 99 cent movie at Blockbuster.  It's usually something simple, but she loves it!
