Magic Kingdom- Monday

On Monday, we were up early and ready to go to the Magic Kingdom.  We loaded up our cars and headed over the Pop Century resort first to check in and leave our luggage.  After checking in, we drove over to the Magic Kingdom!  This was our first sight...

Meredith was so excited!  As soon as she saw the entrance she just clapped and smiled. 

After getting through security and the ticket area we took the walk through Main street and saw the castle.  There were so many people so, we weren't able to get a picture during our first visit.  We had lunch reservations at Tony's Town Square so, we didn't have much time.  We decided to ride the tea cups first. 

I think this was one of Meredith's favorite rides along with, It's a Small World and Pirates of the Caribbean.  I love the Haunted House and couldn't wait to get over there to ride.  Meredith actually did really well in the Haunted Mansion. 

We waited a long time to ride It's a Small World.  It was a nice little break from all the walking and the crowds.  Thankfully, Meredith was pretty patient during most of the waits.  We took the opportunity while in line to take a few pictures.

She sure does love her daddy!

This is probably one of my favorite pictures!  She was so excited to be wearing her "1st Visit" and "Happy Birthday" buttons.  She had so many people tell her Happy  Birthday and was super excited when the characters told her Happy Birthday.

You can't go to Magic Kingdom and not ride the carousel!

We enjoyed the People Mover.  There's not really anything special about it, but it's a nice ride to take when you want to feel a breeze and take a break! 

This is Meredith on the Magic Carpet ride.  She loved watching the Camel spit water at everyone the ride.

 
Pirates of the Caribbean was great!  Meredith wanted to ride in the boat with her Granmommy and Grandaddy.  I think everyone loved this ride!

After spending many hours in the Magic Kingdom, we watched the light parade and then waited for the Fireworks.  I loved watching the fireworks over Cinderella's castle.  Beautiful!

It was a long day, but we had a fantastic time!  I don't think anyone had a problem going to sleep when we got back to our resort.

Birthday Celebration in Florida

On Sunday evening, we had a special birthday celebration for Patrick, Tiffany and Meredith.  Patrick's birthday is March 3rd, Tiffany's March 28th and Meredith's March 26th.  Meredith was super excited that she was going to get to blow out candles and have birthday cake 3 weeks before her actual birthday!

Meredith loves her cousins, Alex and Morgan!  She had such a great time with them!





Look out Florida...Here we come!

We were up bright and early this morning for our long drive to Orlando.  It took forever to get Meredith to go to bed, and I was certain that she would sleep a good bit this morning.  Our plan was to get up at 3 am and be ready to leave by 4 am.  At about 3:35 am, Meredith sat straight up in the bed and said, "Mommy? Hello?  Is anyone in here?"  She didn't stop talking from the time she got up until we stopped for breakfast at 7.  She was so excited!

We were in some horrible rain for about 2 hours.  Meredith was determined to stay awake, and she did entertain us quite a bit.  We enjoyed about 30 minutes of this...

Dad had no problems sleeping, and snoring!

When we got to Orlando, I was so relieved!  What a drive!  We were greeted by Alex and Morgan outside, and Meredith quickly decided she needed to have her bathing suit on.  They have a beautiful pool and hot tub. 

They had a blast!  Tomorrow we're celebrating Patrick's birthday.  Monday, we're headed to Magic Kingdom!  Can't wait!

Crazy Hair Day!

This week is Dr. Seuss week at the daycare.  They are having special, silly days for the kids.  Today was crazy hair day.  Meredith and I had so much fun with this one! 

She loves doing crazy things with her hair, so she was super excited about crazy hair day!  

Happy Valentine's Day!

Meredith had a super busy Valentine's Day.  She had a fun party at school with all of her friends, came home with a box full of valentines, and was totally sugared up from all of the sweets she had.  Her Daddy and I surprised her with a bag full of Valentine surprises from us too!

She loved the ladbug with animal crackers inside!.

Of course, new toothbrush and toothpaste to take care of all the candy she had already had!

This was the cutest puppy dog, and it had hearts on it's shirt that said "kiss me".

You're Not Gonna Believe This....

As I was getting ready a couple weekends ago, Meredith came in with quite a surprise. 

She said, "Mom, you're not gonna believe this!  I'm having a baby!" 

She is a mess!
