Fun with Friends

Saturday night, Creig, Meredith and I headed to the church for a Holiday Party.  Meredith enjoyed fun with the other kids and teens (the teens babysat), and Creig and I enjoyed a great time with the adults.  The food was delicious, and we all brought a gift so we could play the Chinese gift auction.  We had so much fun, and enjoyed a lot of laughs!  Janice, a member at our church brought her camera and had made a great little backdrop.  She was taking each couple's picture at the party.  We had our picture made with Meredith and  I thought it turned out pretty good, considering Meredith didn't want to sit very still!

We also had one made of just the two of us.  I like it too!

On Sunday afternoon, we had our Kid's Holiday Party at church.  The party was planned for the nursery age through fifth grade, and we had about 15 or so kids come.  Meredith was so excited about the party.  It was all she could talk about all day long, and she couldn't wait to get back to church at 4pm for the party.  Between myself and two other Moms, we had a craft, games and plenty of snacks.  They all enjoyed making Frosty the Snowman, and we even watched the movie too! 

We had some of our wonderful teens there to help us with the party.  Of course, they had a great time too and at times were quite silly themselves!

We had a really busy weekend, but I am so thankful that we have such a wonderful church family to enjoy fellowship with!
